Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Homeschool Trellis collects and uses information. We do not sell personal information, run advertising, or use nonessential analytics cookies.

Information collected

Parent name and email, family and child names or usernames, grade level, schedules, assignments, completion records, grades, learning logs, settings, feedback, authentication records, and limited security/usage events.

How it is used

To provide private family features, authenticate users, send requested operational email, provide support, prevent abuse, back up data, and understand aggregate feature use.

Service providers

Hosting, transactional email, error monitoring, and encrypted backup providers process limited data for us under their service terms. Error monitoring is configured not to send request bodies, emails, cookies, or family identifiers.

Retention and choices

Account content is kept while the account is active. Detailed usage events are retained for 90 days. Local and encrypted daily backups rotate after approximately 30 days. Parents may export data or request access, correction, consent revocation, or deletion by contacting support.

Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, hashed passwords, owner multi-factor authentication, encrypted backups, and monitoring. No online service can promise absolute security.
