Help & how-to guides

How Trellis works, one job at a time.

Seven short guides that follow the same path the app does: set up your family, plan the year, run the day, and keep the records. The path runs all the way to a graduation transcript.

Each step links straight to the page where it happens. Most families finish in an evening.

1
Set your academic year

Choose the school year dates first so planning, time off, and yearly reports use the right range.

2
Add each child

Create one child profile per student. Each child gets their own color, schedule, assignments, and grades.

Manage Children →
3
Create child device links

Use the Children page to create a device sign-in link for each kid PC or shared tablet. Open the link on that device and bookmark it.

Add or import work

Start with a few assignments, or import a curriculum plan with lesson counts and suggested months.

Completion emails are optional and arrive as one daily digest at the time you choose, without exact completion times.
