Idaho homeschool graduation requirements, diploma, and transcript

Idaho Code 33-202 exempts privately home-educated students from public-school graduation requirements; there is no state diploma, mandated credits, or exit exam for homeschoolers. Parents set requirements and issue their own diploma.

The public-school credit table, for reference
Idaho's public-school diploma requires 46 credits. A homeschool is not held to it. It is shown as the reference a transcript is commonly read against. A recruited athlete also registers with the NCAA Eligibility Center, which grades home-school core courses against its own worksheet, separate from this table.

Assessments in the public-school rules: Civics Exam required; a "Future Readiness Project" becomes mandatory starting with the Class of 2028. These exams bind public-school students; a homeschooled student is not required to take them.
What Idaho colleges ask a homeschooled applicant for
Idaho gives homeschool parents full autonomy over diploma requirements. University of Idaho and Boise State admit primarily by GPA/test-score tier rather than a subject-credit list, but University of Idaho applies extra scrutiny to homeschool/GED applicants specifically.

University of Idaho publishes no subject-by-subject course list. No published subject-credit list; admission is GPA-tiered (3.00+ GPA = automatic; 2.60-2.99 needs ACT or SAT scores or the Vandal Gateway Program), and an Idaho resident scoring 3 or higher on both ISAT Math and Literacy is eligible regardless of GPA. Homeschool/GED applicants with fewer than 14 college credits go through committee review requiring ACT 26+/SAT 1260+, 3 recommendation letters, and a written statement.
