Nebraska homeschool graduation requirements, diploma, and transcript

Nebraska homeschools operate as 'exempt schools' under Rule 13 and are not bound by Rule 10's public-school graduation credit hours. Nebraska issues no diploma; the parent-run exempt school does.

The public-school credit table, for reference
Nebraska's public-school diploma requires 200 credits. A homeschool is not held to it. It is shown as the reference a transcript is commonly read against. A recruited athlete also registers with the NCAA Eligibility Center, which grades home-school core courses against its own worksheet, separate from this table.

Assessments in the public-school rules: none required statewide for graduation. These exams bind public-school students; a homeschooled student is not required to take them.
What Nebraska colleges ask a homeschooled applicant for
Nebraska measures public-school requirements in credit hours (200 total, not the ~24-credit scale most states use). The University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) has a published homeschool-specific admission page requiring extra documentation (textbook list, lab descriptions, filed exempt-school confirmation).
